She has expertise in training doctors and other health care professionals on patient management. Early in her career she was involved in establishing senior day care and home care facilities.
Being academically active she often addresses audiences at companies on organisational wellbeing and on health care topics at academic institutions. She is keenly interested in research and innovations in the healthcare sector.
After formal training in the UK she worked there as Consultant Psychiatrist for 6 years and in Wales as lead clinician with a team on mental health / substance misuse for 5 years. Later she led the substance misuse team in Nottinghamshire for a year before returning to India.
She has also worked as Associate Professor of psychiatry at the International Medical School, Management and Science University (Malaysian medical council) and taught core psychiatric curriculum for 4th year medical students on clinical placement at the Bangalore Baptist Hospital.
Currently she serves as Sr Consultant Psychiatrist and addiction specialist besides holding the position as Medical Director at People Tree Maarga hospital located in Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

Initially, trained at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. He moved to Australia and worked as registrar in Perth before joining in the year 2002, Central Coast Area Mental Health Service in NSW as Consultant Psychiatrist. He received his CCT from GMC, UK in 2004. He worked as Consultant Psychiatrist with NHS during 2004-2014.
He has also acquired administrative experience undertaking responsibilities as Clinical Lead/Director while working at hospitals in Australia and England. He has experience in teaching and training doctors and associated health care staff and in planning delivery of healthcare services.
Currently, besides continuing his practice as Consultant Psychiatrist at; Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal and Bangalore Neuro Centre, Malleshwaram in Bengaluru he serves as Managing Director at Navachethana Hospital, Yelahanka, Bengaluru and as Director for Quality at Siddaganga Hospital & Research Center, Tumakuru.
